SurfaceTechnology GERMANY, the leading international trade fair for surface technology, which will take place from June 4 to 6, 2024 in Hall 1 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center, will reflect these requirements and provide the exhibiting companies and visitors alike with a unique portfolio of solutions. During difficult times, it is crucial to collaborate, to exchange ideas and information, support one another as an industry, and to continue teaching and learning in order to stay prepared for the future," adds Christoph Nowak, Project Manager of SurfaceTechnology GERMANY at Deutsche Messe AG.
SurfaceTechnology GERMANY this year will center on the aforementioned themes, including climate and environmentally friendly processes, efficient use of resources, and sustainability, along with digitalization and automation. However, the topic of AI has now also arrived in the surface industry. Other unmissable topics and essential cornerstones of the event include electroplating, abrasive blasting, nano- and microtechnology, thermal spraying, industrial plasma and laser surface technology, coating materials, surface treatment, supply technology, services, pretreatment, cleaning, and measuring, testing and analysis technology.
"The event's expert forum will address current challenges and highlight topics such as "Legal requirements for climate change mitigation – the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act", "Digitalization in surface technology" and provide a tour d'horizon of the topic of "REACH in surface technology – status of authorization and substitution". With around 50 presentations, the specialist forum will be bigger than ever before, and offer something for everyone," reports Christoph Nowak.
