SurfaceTechnology GERMANY offers the VDMA an excellent opportunity for professionally focused exchange on industry topics, such as: digitalisation.
The interoperability of production is a forward-looking topic in mechanical engineering. The VDMA organises numerous working groups for this purpose, in which the fundamentals for machine-to-machine communication using OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) are coordinated by the industry. Three working groups are currently active for OPC UA surface technology. SurfaceTechnology GERMANY is therefore an important meeting place to give the expert public an insight into OPC UA for this sector.
VDMA Surface Technology supports SurfaceTechnology GERMANY in two ways: as a non-material partner and actively on the trade fair advisory board. With our involvement in the trade fair advisory board, we support the industry-oriented development of this platform for suppliers and users of surface technology.
