In electroplating processes such as tin plating, suspensions consisting of sludgetype precipitations are produced that impair process efficiency as solid deposits. Organic residue from electrolytic degreasing processes, phosphating baths or pickling degreasers can also have a similarly unfavorable effect. The REN-ADSORB adsorber system offers a flexible and efficient solution in these cases. The adsorbent comprises fine, serpentine-like polypropylene fibers and has an extremely large surface area. This allows extremely small particles to be reliably filtered out of the supplied fluid without any clogging. Filter media based on active carbon are available for removal of organic contamination.
