GEOMET® - thin-film corrosion protection:
GEOMET® is a zinc/aluminum lamellar layer embedded in a largely inorganic, chromium-free matrix, which we apply using various application techniques. The corrosion resistance depends on the applied layer thickness and results from the combination of the barrier effect of the film-lamella structure, the controlled anodic protection of the zinc and the passivation of zinc and aluminum.
These coatings can be combined with topcoats to achieve customized solutions in terms of functional properties, friction behavior and corrosion resistance of the coating.
DELTA Protekt® - micro-layer corrosion protection:
With the DELTA Protekt® micro-layer corrosion protection systems - consisting of basecoat and optional topcoat - we enable tailor-made solutions in terms of functional properties, friction behavior and corrosion, especially for the automotive industry and mechanical engineering.
Other zinc flake systems - combined with topcoats:
High-performance corrosion protection for components with special functional requirements: Zinc flake coatings in combination with top coats or sealants make it possible. Regardless of whether special friction values, abrasion resistance, UV resistance, gloss level, coloring or an insulating function are required. The processes are particularly recommended for complex geometric components, hollow and scooped components, small screws with washers or very small internal forces.
