For WRC these metal-containing residues are not waste, they are reuseable raw materials. In addition to solid and pasty metal-containing residues, WRC also recycles liquid residues. In 2023 WRC introduced a modern crushing and milling plant, which handles hard brittle waste through the crushing and homogenisation of slags, crucibles, furnace scrap and catalysts. WRC offers our customers this option on a contract basis. Residual materials from the fields of electromobility and photovoltaic recycling can also be recycled at our facility.
The integrated WRC management system for quality, environment and occupational safety has been successfully certified by SGS for all production sites worldwide. By way of an integrated system, the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 influence all areas of the company.
