As a member of the HEF Groupe, TS uses the patented processes developed by the parent company under the product names ARCOR® and TENIFER®.
Both nitriding processes offer maximum productivity and consistent quality and are carried out using the environmentally friendly CLIN (Controlled Liquid Ionic Nitriding) process in high-purity molten salts.
Both processes are used to increase wear resistance, corrosion resistance and fatigue strength and their high-quality black coloration makes them stand out from the product portfolio. Compared to galvanic or chemical surface coating processes, nitriding in a molten salt bath offers both significantly higher corrosion protection and greater hardness in many cases.
The technologies used by TS form a nitrocarburized layer with a very high nitride content. This characteristic gives the treated workpieces a particularly high level of protection against wear and corrosion. Another reason why many of our customers from the automotive industry and drive technology swear by this process is the improvement in running and sliding properties.
Salt bath nitrocarburizing with subsequent blasting and post-oxidation is regarded as the absolute premium process. This treatment sequence not only impresses with its visual advantages, but is also used for special roughness, hardness, corrosion and wear requirements.
