Sol-gel coatings are becoming increasingly established in the market.
With this technology, hard ceramic layers are applied which meet the most diverse requirements.
Compared to conventional fluoropolymer surfaces these surfaces are less sensitive to abrasion and high temperatures, and therefore offer many advantages.
A further benefit is the low thermal load on the components due to a significantly lower baking temperature.
Our coating SOL-GEL GU SG-1 can be used where fluoropolymers are no longer appropriate.
In addition to metallic materials, our coating SOL-GEL GU SG-1 can also be applied to plastics and lightweight material such as CFRP.
