EPG AG has succeeded in further developing the coating system for fittings by using sol-gel technology and nanoparticles: Chrome or PVD layers can be coated with the desired colors and properties. On a technical basis, it is therefore possible to replace or to improve the PVD layer. The base materials used in sol-gel technology are toxicologically harmless and can be used on metal or plastic components. With EPG coatings, it is possible to finally bring together the desired colors and functionalities.
